March 1, 2026

To start March off with a strong push, I woke up at 11:30 and showered. Yes, that is a strong start for me. Once I was ready for the day, I went to 7 eleven close to the dorm to get food and also charge the laundry app. In order to do laundry, you need to go to a convenience store and give them cash to put on the laundry app account. I don’t like that system because I always forget to charge the account before putting laundry in. After 7 eleven, I went back to the dorm to actually do my laundry. While I was waiting, I unpacked the final things from traveling and organized them. Before going to bed, I was looking at hairstyles, so I know what to get when I go to the hair salon. Got to bed around midnight.

March 2, 2026

I woke up the same time as yesterday but stayed in the dorm until 14:05. I went to Daiso, then met up with Josue and Ayleen at Outback Steakhouse in the Wangshimni Plaza. I got yummy pasta with steak. This was my first time at an Outback restaurant, so I had them help me decide what to eat. After we finished, Ayleen and I made an appointment at Juno Hair for 17:00. To spend the time in between, we just walked around the stores in the plaza.

Once it was time, we went to the hair appointment, and Josue went back to the dorms. Highly recommend Juno Hair because they take good care of your hair. It was only $23 for a haircut that included two washes before and after, plus a cut exactly like the picture. 😎Once you are done, they offer you free relaxing drinks. 🧘We went back to the dorms and around 21:00, I got hungry, so I went to 7-Eleven. I got to bed around 23:00.

March 3, 2026

My alarm rang at 7:45, and I got out of bed ready for the first day of classes. I first showered, but then realized the first class isn’t meeting in person. Instead, we had to watch some intro videos. I did have my second class at 13:00, so Josue and I walked to campus. We split for class, but I ran into Ayleen, so we went to the cafeteria for a quick bite. When it was time for the class, I ended up walking to the wrong building. I was guided to another building by local students, but when the class ended, I learned it was the wrong class. I swear it was the right one because it was also in English and had some similarities to the class I needed. 🤣

After class, I saw there were numerous booths for the school club fair. I walked around and ended up signing up for some clubs like dance, singing, and judo. When I finished, I went back to the dorms and chilled. My friends and I met up on the floor lounge and chatted. We chatted until dinner, which I ordered pizza. I was very tired, so I went to bed.

March 4, 2026

Since this was the first week, I had no classes on Wednesday. I woke up at 8:50, but snoozed the alarm to 10:30. I was starving, so I walked to the Hanyang Plaza for brunch. The one food I usually get is the katsu from one of the vendors because it isn’t spicy and has a lot for the price. Once I was done, I took the train to Wangshimni to meet Ayleen at the Daiso plaza. I bought a water bottle and a money tracker.

Then we went to Top10, which is a clothing store, because I had very few pants. I needed a computer stylus, so we went to the Samsung store. They asked for my model number, but they didn’t have it in stock. I had to return on Friday to pick it up. On the way back to the dorms, we stopped at Venti again cause it is so dang delicious. When we finally got to the dorms, I chilled in my room for the night and posted my first Bishkek post. I went to bed around 1:30.
