Sickness Go Away!

I will write very little for this day because I was sick the whole day.

Did nothing until 14:06 when I went to 7-Eleven for food. I got yogurt and milk. Usually, the yogurts have a 1+1 sign, so I can get two for the value of one. As I was still sick, I just stayed in my room watching videos. At 19:40, I went to 7-Eleven again for dinner this time. I felt really hot all day, so I was figuring out where to buy a thermometer. Ayleen was out already and got me one. It said I was right on the cusp of a fever. I still felt awful, so I stayed in bed the whole day.

Again, I did nothing. Boring, I know, right?! Trust me, it gets better. Third time is a charm, especially when you go to 7-Eleven ㅋㅋ. I went at 12:00 and then back to the dorm. And that’s it for the day. Next.

By now, I have started to feel better with a lower temperature. I went to class, but online just to make sure I wasn’t contagious still. The class was from 10:30 to 12:00, but it felt like it took way longer than an hour and a half. I had to go to my second class of the day since we had a midterm. I had the class from 13:00 until 16:00, then went back to the dorm.
Julia, who is also in the Hallyu class, met Ayleen, Josue, and I at a Mexican restaurant for late lunch. It took around 40 min by train, which wasn’t bad. Once we finished, we decided to spontaneously ride the bikes. We rode them to the Han River, which was another 43 min. Ayleen said there was a light show at the Banpo Bridge, so we went to see that. It wasn’t crazy, but still nice to see. It only took about 5 minutes each time, so we walked around and ended up at Yongsan unintentionally.
Since it was late at night, we went back to Wangshimni for a very late dinner. We went to a KBBQ place, which was my first time. After, on the way back to the dorms, we stopped at a small 24/7 self-serve ice cream shop. While we were eating, we started doing random quizzes. We did state, country, and food quizzes until we decided to go to a 24-hour study cafe at 2 am. Ayleen needed to do a big project and had some difficulties, so we tried to help, but there was no luck. Around 4 am, we went back to the dorms, where I passed out on my bed.

I woke up at 14:00, which is a lot later than I have been waking up. But this makes sense, since I was up very late. I needed to print the TB test paper to show that I am negative, so I went to the print room in the dorm. At 16:30, once I had it, I went to 7-Eleven with Ayleen. After, we walked to campus for Korean class an hour early to study. Class was from 18:10-20:00, which is not my favorite time for class. We were hungry, so Ayleen and I went to a Japanese Restaurant, but others from the class ended up going as well.

It is finally Friday! I have only one class. I woke up at 9:50 and headed to my Animal Ethics class at 11:00. The professor let us out at 12:40, which was nice. Like last week, I met Ayleen at the Plaza for lunch and got my usual katsu. I had a reservation for a BTS pop-up at Shinsegae Department Store, so I needed to finish quickly. Ayleen joined me just for the adventure.

We took the train to Shinsegae, and I went in line to enter the room. I got a poster and a hoodie. Since Ayleen was waiting, I didn’t want her to wait for long, so I finished quickly. We were hungry for a snack, and Ayleen knew of a Hello Kitty Cafe nearby. They had really cute desserts in the shape of her. Once we were done, we took the train back to the dorm. I cleaned my room, then went to bed around 1 am.
